Beavertail / HIAB Hire

Rubbles has a fleet of FORS Accredited transport moving vehicles and our beavertail is ideal for moving a large and abnormal equipment.

Our beavertail has a HIAB crane which allows us to pick up and move heavy equipment without the need for a telehandler.

• A beavertail vehicle is ideal for moving large equipment. It gets its name from its rear loading ramp which folds down very close to the ground, just like a beaver’s tail. The sloping platform body allows machinery, vehicles and plant to be driven or winched onto the truck for transportation.

• HIAB is a commonly used term for a lorry mounted crane. By using these types of vehicles on site it often removes the need for forklifts or mobile cranes to be present, reducing costs for the customer.

• All of our drivers carry CPCS and CSCS cards, are CITB trained and are accredited to the relevant competency for their vehicle/plant. They also have multiple years of experience working with heavy loads and specialist haulage.
